Welcome to the Guruvayurappan Temple of Brampton

The Guruvayurappan Temple is open

  1. Wearing of Masks is mandatory inside and outside the temple at all times.
  2. Temperature check and contact tracing is mandatory before entering the temple.
  3. Advance online registration is recommended for visits.
  4. A maximum of 80 persons will be allowed at one time inside the temple. (Strictly enforced).
  5. Walk in will be allowed subject to available capacity.
  6. Online pooja bookings will continue, and is recommended; Poojas can also be booked at the counter.
  7. Wedding is allowed (50 persons maximum in attendance).
  8. Choroon is allowed (50 persons maximum in attendance) – one person to make the prasadam following protocols.
  9. Shradham/Vahanapooja is available.
  10. Outcalls allowed for priests who are fully vaccinated; family members and priests to wear masks in the vehicle and at home. Maintain social distance and other protocols even if fully vaccinated.
  11. Thulabharam is open
  12. Prasadam distribution (chandanam, flower and kalkandam) is allowed.
  13. Payasam offering is available.
  14. Prasadam/food consumption is not allowed within the temple premises.
  15. No material, including flowers, can be brought to the temple for offering.

As part of the Maha Prathishta in 2019, the Guruvayurappan Temple of Brampton created a Souvenir and distributed it among devotees and well-wishers at the time.

Second anniversary of Maha-Prathishta

Your temple performed Sudhi Kalasam (purification rites), Abhishekhams, Prathishta Dinam rituals and poojas to commemorate the second anniversary of our Maha-Prathishta on Thursday, June 17; Friday, June 18; and Saturday, June 19. The event took place inside the temple and devotees had the opportunity to participate remotely or in-person.

Welcome to the online booking portal of Guruvayurappan Temple of Brampton [GTOB]. Basic information is required as the temple may need to contact you. Payments are channelled through the secure PayPal process.

Karkkitaka Vavu Bali

Your Temple will be conducting Karkkitaka Vavu Bali on Saturday, August 7 in sessions of 30 minutes each, starting 6:15 am. The last session will start at 10:45 am.

The Board would like to extend their sincere appreciation and thanks to all the devotees who donated to the India Covid Relief Fund. We have collected a total of $15,000 so far, and this amount was sent to Canadian Red Cross with a specific request to direct the donation towards Kerala’s relief efforts through Indian Medical Association Trivandrum Branch or Chief Minister’s Relief Fund.
