Guruvayurappan Temple of Brampton Celebrated Vishu with Vishu kani and Vishu Kaineettam

Guruvayurappan Temple of Brampton celebrated Vishu on April 14 at the Temple. Many devotees offered prayers at Guruvayurappan Temple of Brampton on the Vishu day, looking ahead to a season of prosperity and harmony. At the Vishu pulari (the dawn of the Vishu day), the devotees visited the temple to have an auspicious sight or "Vishukkani" and begin this New Year on an auspicious note.

The temple gave coins to all the devotees as the customary `Vishu kaineettam.' Thus begins another prosperous and splendid New Year!

Adopt-A-Park Partnership Program

The greenery and scenic beauty of parks and trails contributes to the quality of our life by providing us a link to nature in a typical overwhelming, urban setting. To nourish and cherish these green beauties, the city of Brampton provides opportunities to families, neighbourhoods, not for profit organizations, businesses and individuals through the “Adopt-A-Park Program”
